その名も
善田、海外転勤します。
海外へ転勤することになり、引っ越しや転勤先での生活に向けて準備をしている善田さんの様子をTALKで紹介していきます。
今後、海外配属になる可能性がある、もしくは、いつか海外で生活してみたいという人も少なくないと思うので、そんな方のお役に立つシリーズになれば幸いです。

So, how are the preparations going?
Yoshida:
Slow. I haven’t even bought the flight tickets. The prices keep fluctuating.
Pedro:
That’s true. You should set an alarm for when the price drops!
Yoshida:
You can do that?? I have to try it. But it’s so expensive…
Pedro:
Even though it’s low season? Let me see…
Yoshida, why are you searching for 2 ways tickets? You should be searching for 1 way…
Yoshida:
Oh, that’s right! That’s why it was so expensive.
At this price I can even get 1 more cabin bag!
Pedro:
You should just get a check-in bag. The weight allowance is much better…
Yoshida:
You’re right. And there are less restrictions. I’m going to do that.
Pedro:
Sounds good. And don’t forget to get insurance, just in case!

ペドロ:
それで、準備は進んでる？
善田:
あまり。航空券もまだ買えてない。値段が常に変動してて。
ペドロ:
そうだね。値下がりしたとき用に通知を設定した方がいいかもしれないよ！
善田:
そんなことできるの？やってみなきゃ。でも本当に高くて…
ペドロ:
ローシーズンなのに？ちょっと見せて。
善田、なんで往復のチケットを検索してるんだよ？片道で見ないと…
善田:
あっ、本当だ！どうりでこんなに高かったわけだ。
この値段なら持ち込み手荷物もうひとつ追加できるよ！
ペドロ:
預け荷物にした方がいいと思う。許容重量が断然大きいから…
善田:
確かに。制限ルールも少ないし。そうする。
ペドロ:
いいね。念のため保険付けるのも忘れずにね。

I’m moving to Europe so I’m buying a one way ticket.
ヨーロッパに引越しするので、片道航空券を購入しています。

The baggage allowance inside the plane changes a lot recently.
最近、機内の手荷物の許容量が大幅に変わりました。
My son turned 9 so I started giving him some allowance.
うちの息子が９歳になったので、お小遣いを渡しはじめた。
◆ Restrictions
Don’t forget to check the new airport restrictions.
空港の新しいルールを忘れずに確認してね。
For next week’s event we have to restrict the participants to 20 people.
来週のイベントなのですが、参加者を２０人に制限しないといけません。
